Opinions on Michilin M/S2 tires.
I'm looking at changing my tires as the factory Scorpions are crap. What is everyone's opinion on these tires?

Great tire, it increased my gas mileage 2MPG over the scorpions(I still drive the same way, aggressive!). So far great in the rain, haven't experienced any snow. The scorpions would slip all over the place in the rain, even at 8/32.

X2 on watching the sidewalls. they were cracking on the inner facing sidewalls. The sidewalls facing outward showed no sign. However they did have a recall, a year or so on them and my replacement tires have no issues over the last 15k miles (about 3k of that towing 7000lbs +/- )
They've done real well in the Kansas snows and rain, particularly since my truck is 2wd.

A lot of people swear by those Michelins...A little too plain Jane looking for me plus I'm out in the country and do some light offroading every now and then. I went with some Toyo AT2's but in a P rated 275x60x20 to get a little better offroad traction while still retaining fuel mileage and performance with a little better looking tire.

Have the 275/65r18 m/s2 Load Range E that came on truck when I purchased used.
-date code says they are 3 years old and I have small cracking between tread
-very quiet
-very good in rain, snow, slush and ice
-excellent traction on dry roads, very load squeling when tires break loose
-99% of Michelin tires require very little wheel weights to balance
-doubt their any good off road, haven't tryed as I don't want to get my truck dirty
With that said, I'm going to try the Cooper A/TW
