One less cat in this world...
One of the yard cats in the neighborhood apparently thought he (or she) found a new home on the spare wheel, safely protected from harm.
Not sure how long this cat had made the spare wheel his home but I can't remember seeing any cat come and go from the truck while at work or at home. Never heard meows or other cat sounds either; never knew a cat made his home on my spare wheel.
So as I was leaving town for a trip; the hideaway cat was along for a ride too. While stopped at a light, another motorist motioned to roll down my window and told me a black cat tumbled out from the below back end of the truck. First, I thought it wasn't possible but then he said it again. That would explain why he suddenly jerked his truck over to the other lane a few miles back. As for the tumbling cat, I doubt he survived at that speed but the other motorist mentioned he saw the cat doing a few lopsided cartwheels and a hard bounce before he passed it.

I hate people who do not like cats.

too bad
The world is full of sadness and of people who derive pleasure from such misfortune.
