I have a box that will fit under the seat with 2 10s already in it. And it sounds orgasmic might I add. But it's for the screw. But your talking about putting in 12s so this box would create the same problems a box for 12s would create.

These are the subs I'm planning to get. They are shallow mount. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0085...=A5ZRC4DPYV13E

Height won't be an issue, but depth will. If you don't mind the box sticking out 2 or so inches past the front of the seat. I just don't see 12's fitting flush on a supercab. 10" is the max if you want it to be flush with the seat.

Choosing the right power cable depends on how much power u plan to run. How much power depends on which amp, which amp depends on which subs.

8ga carries up to around 100a
4ga carries up to around 150a
2ga carries up to around 225a
1/0 ga carries up to around 350a

So 1400watts RMS draws about 188a

Personally, I'd do two high quality 10" subs in a properly built ported box.

I'd do (2) Soundqube HDS200 at $95 each. 600 watts RMS each, but handle more. Match it with the Soundqube Q1-1200.2 at $269.

That's just an example of a good quality system. There's countless other routes u can take and be happy. Feel free to pm me any more questions, I actually used to compete in bass competitions.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've already ordered the 12" shallow mount p3's and box. They are 400w RMS each. I'm needing a 2 channel amp and am having trouble finding one with a true RMS wattage to match with these P3's. Keep in mind I don't want to break the bank. If someone could give me a few options with the setup I have that would be great. Thanks

Azalin, if I had saw ur post earlier I would have held off on buying the p3s. It was my understanding that I needed to fit the biggest sub I could in order to get the biggest boom. I didn't know there were 10s that could out perform these 12 for the same price. Since I have already ordered them can u help me find a cheap amp to pair with them? The subs are 400w RMS and 800w peak each.

If ur on a tight budget, I'd do an Audiopipe APCL-15001D.
While it may not do exactly 1500watts RMS, I've always seen it clamp out anywhere from 1000- 1400watts RMS. I think it is enough power for your situation and it should agree with your wallet at around $155.

Wouldn't that blow my subs since there only 400w RMS each? Or is that not the "true" wattage?
