Oil drain gasket on 2013 5.0
I am in the process of changing the oil on my 2013, 5.0.
I pulled the plug and noticed a dish on the bolt, and wondered if there was an o ring, and it fell into the pan.
I drained the pan and did not see one, but I still am not sure.
Oh by the way, what a pain changing the oil on this thing.

no O ring and mine being 4wd pull it up on ramps and it helps to get it up at an angle. then the oil drains out the back of catch tray, then wipe out tray before on filter.

Well like you, I thought it did not have one, so I called the dealer, and they verified it dd. ( I was pretty anxious. Supposed to go camping in a couple of hours, and was waiting for the fastest response)
So I went out and took my drain off, and low and behold it was stuck to the pan itself, it was even the same color as the pan, so it blended in perfectly. I thought is was a rolled edge on the pan.
Thanks on the tip for draining. It seemed the little trough was pretty much useless. It all came out of the rear.
