Default 09-12 FX4 Scab HELP!

Guy's and Gal's I'm fairly new to the Forum here and looking for some idea's. In the week or so that I have been a member there has already been 20+ hours devoted to reading as many threads as possible from start to finish. With that being said I haven't seen too many new Super Cab Fx4's on here with 2-2.5" Leveling kits (rear block or not) that also have some pretty sick wheel's and tires on them.

I'm in no rush to order a new F150 in but my Wife on the other hand is getting a little pushy for a second vehicle again and she's the type that will just show up at the house some day with a little Accent or Focus OR even worse a DODGE

Here's what I'm looking at...
-'12 Scab FX4
-5L running 3.73 gears
-6.5' Box
-HD Tails

That is all I am 100% certain on so far. Heck I can't even decide on the color. When I first started looking on here I had my mind set on White but after seeing some sick looking Black's and Sterling Grey's I find myself torn on what looks the nicest. While I do appreciate the Blue's, Red's and Silver's that are here there are just too many of them around my way.

Here's what I want...
-Reliable headlights W/ HID's (same for Fogs)
-Off Road Lights with some sort of light bar or bull bar
-2.5" Leveling Kit and rear block(if needed)
-Aftermarket rims...can't decide on 18's or 20's
-Aggressive yet dependable All Terrain tires for some light mud and snow as well as the odd sand and rocks (plan on buying winter tires for factory rims)
-Cat back dual exhaust (nothing over the top yet noticeable upgrade over factory)
-Tonneau cover or Tool box...Suggestions needed (will need to accommodate the odd trip with my ATV in the back)

That's most likely all I will be doing to my truck for the first little while anyways, but if I can have some members post a few pictures for me so I can have an idea of what I am looking at and the different approaches that are out there that would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers!

The main choice on the Fx4 is if you want the Lux package or not, This gets leather and the backup camera / sensor. For me this was an easy choice.

If you are going to replace the rims then get the 18" on the Fx4 as it will save you money. Also get one without running boards if you are replacing those. Then there is the monroof as a major option to pick. Will be a sweet truck for sure.

I started out wanting the 5L but ended up with the EcoBoost. Changed my mind. Ask for Costco pricing...

Thanks.

I forgot about the running boards, I will not be needing them as I plan on buying a NFAB nerf bars. And the moonroof is a must have but as far as the Lux package goes I don't need Leather so unless the Dealer can give me a deal I can't say NO to then it won't be on my order list.

I see what you mean about the cost of 18's VS 20's and I suppose the 18's would also have the advantage of more rubber protecting my wheels from these Canadian roads.

Check out member Desert Dawg's lightbar. I think it looks good. Also, don't remember if he changed it on his new XLT, but I like the rims on his 09 FX4. By the way, firefighters should have red trucks Just messin' with ya
