I'm a truck rookie and have a question.
What's the benefit of leveling the truck?
Cosmetic or performance?
Thanks yawl.

cosmetics. Anyone that says you get better MPG by lowering the truck had better be lowering it a lot. Leveling it out usually is a 2" adjustment to remove the rake that the truck has at stock.

HardcoreFXFour, i hope he likes it! i am a bit concerned when it comes to towing next year, will have to see how it dips once the trailer is connected.

Cosmetic. Some like to raise the front to add larger tires and get worse mpgs, lol! However if you tow heavy its a huge detriment, headlights point at sky and your truck looks goofy with the nose up and rear down, lol!

No convincing necessary! It's going to be a surprise. I told him his truck is oozing for a drop and he hummed and mumbled. He's away for a couple weeks, if he doesn't like it it isn't difficult to put back in.

Lmao! That's awesome. Think he'll even notice? I know my dad wouldn't if I did it to his...
