Default 2012 ecoboost performance suggestions

Hey everyone i am a new ford/truck owner. I have had a couple wrx's and other imports and now i have a 2012 ecoboost and im looking to make some performance mods to it. I've lifted it 6“ already and now I'm looking into getting an intake, tuner and exhaust. So far i really like the afe intake and was wondering if anyone has likes/dislikes on it. Im curious to what people prefer for a tuner and exhaust. Thanks for any suggestions!!!

Intake wont add much power wise, real world gains prob about 5-8 rwhp ( netted 6 rwhp off the AidAid drop in take on my own 12 EB ) but does let you hear the turbos bit better.

Exhaust wise, everybody has their preference but Stainless Works and Solo are the two top companies for it and Full Race has their own system coming out soon which looks pretty good from reviews I've seen.

Far as tuners, either SCT or Livernois is your best bet by far.

Tuner will make world of difference in the daily driving of the vehicle and exhaust will give it the tone/sound you want. Tune will be 35/55 rwhp and 85/110 torque depending on which octane tune you get or choose.

Basic breakdown on mods for the Ecoboost but trust it helps. Few videos of the Stainless Works exhaust in my signature so can hear what it sounds like. I netted 35 rwhp and 75 torque from a Stainless Works offroad downpipe and S tube muffler catback on my 12 Ecoboost.

What about the AFE stage 2 intake? They're claiming like 30hp increased are they bogus numbers or are they actual gains?

Bogus. Few members on here tested em with before and after dyno and saw like 5 horses gains real world. Don't get me wrong, it's a very well built intake but 30 hp increase? Yeah...The factory box flows really well actually. When I did my AidAid drop in, I knew it was mostly for lil more turbo sound primarily.

That and couple members busted AFE on some dyno sheets they posted up. Pointed out they didnt cross at what, 5250 rpms I think like all dyno sheets should and they were quickly yanked down. I think Geno caught that or maybe it was EngineerMike...

Ok and I heard that the stock intake system is pretty good. I wonder if they will get any law suits over their HP claim and it being bogus.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will most likely go with the afe stage 2 for sound. I love to hear the turbo spooling. As for exhaust i will most likely wait for the stainless works!!
