Has anybody tried mounting switches here ?
I'm trying to find a spot to mount at least 4 switches (preferably 5) but am having a hard time finding a suitable area. The overhead console on my '17 Lariat (500A) has those tiny "speaker sensors" for the alarm system and dont think the bigger panel will mount in the ceiling above it. Has anyone tried to mount anything here above the radio. Don't know how much room is under that plate. Just wondering........................

I see you have a 2017 F-150..... this thread pertains to the 2009-2014 12th gen trucks...
...But we're here to help!
For the 2015-current (your year truck)... KustomFX also makes a couple style switch panels.
Check it out!

Space is limited in your year gen truck, but you do have a few options.

I believe its made of rubber so that may be rather hard to fit a panel in but then again much harder has been accomplished id be interested to see this one

I will be doing this, this weekend and will post about it. I know a few others have before with some modification to the pod for the Livewire. Shouldn't be too difficult.

I got a sPOD with the bluetooth module really popular with the jeep guys.
they don't make one for the F150's but I installed it without a hitch.
alittle pricy but when people ask me where are the switches mounted and I pull out my phone the look on their faces = Priceless
