I am in same boat - shopped around on eBay - cheapest is $400 from china & they told me u can't connect back up cam to turn on automatically when shift into reverse. Next best one is from Canada for $700 & they claim its plug & play including sync & will work back up cam - but the bezel looks terrible in gloss black only - last I checked the oem ones on eBay @ $1500 ! They hav proper colors & can make everything work like factory if u give them ur VIN to upload into unit. All three come with free nav maps ( the oem one is updated yearly for a fee) -

Yeah 1500 is way too much to spend.

Panasonic makes nice aftermarket units for 5-700. I looked into those 400$ chinaman specials but everyone was complaining about different issues. I would stay away from those. I'm guessing that I will be buying a Panasonic after the 1st of the year.

Be nice if they had a low cost touch screen with bezel only that would plug into our existing stock box that contains CD player & internal amp (without nav).
Then we wouldn't hav to throw out a perfectly good component- I don't care about nav but would like the big screen for the cam-

Yeah I hear ya. I have a smartphone with nav. I just want the big screen for music, controls and a larger rear camera.

This is the $600 one - they got the marketing down -haha - wouldn't be half bad if it came in a textured grey bezel ( or wood grain in your case) - I plan on having my truck a while - I can't stomach that gloss black-

Default Its simple ....

I can almost guarantee you that if that is on Ebay its not the factory OEM unit for 200.00 , there are a ton of China made touch screens that say they are oem and really are not ... Unless you found one from a wrecking yard or somebody actually took theirs out of their truck for something else I could see you picking one up for around 4-500 , normally when the oem units are on ebay they are over a grand ... All that said they are super easy to install , there are plenty of you tube videos on how to do the job ... It takes me about 5-10 min to take out the oem deck and the same to install the new one ... plug n play makes things so easy anyone can do it ...

For this to work with your truck you would need the external amp (unlike your stock radio that includes internal amp) Also if it is true OEM your VIN would need to be programmed into it - great if seller could do that. I pm seller about that & if available for 2010 xlt. The price is great if true oem!
