OEM style aftermarket fender flares...what the verdict?
Wanting to add husky rear well liners and was doing some reading that they "hold" much better on trucks that have factory style fender flares. The FX4 style (or PTM Blue Flame Metallic) flares is something I'd like to do anyways...
I know OEM take offs come up on here from time-to-time but has anyone had experience with the aftermarket OEM style? Looks like they bolt and stick on.
Just looking for some experiences? Good, bad...
Here is an example...

First off, you don't want to hassle with 'real' OEM flares, there's about 12 holes you'd need to drill into each fender. I know some have done it, but what a job! (I know, I sold my OEM FX4 flares to someone on this forum. He did install them. I can't say it enough: "Wow, what a job!")
I took off my OEMs in favor of the Lund SX312 flares. They give 1" more coverage than the OEM flares, and look just like OEMs. Paid about $300. I had mine sprayed with truck bed liner.
