Default Dual Liner bedliner owners

I got my bedliner installed to which was a snap.

It's in the 40's here. The bed mat will not lay flat and is rolled up like the mat is to large for the bed. I tried to push it out and it looks to wide but the mat is specifically stated for my truck.

Now in the install instructions it states it needs over 50 degrees to relax. Now it doesn't seem like it needs to relax from being rolled up, it just seems to big.

What's everyone else's experience when installing when it's cold out?

Well I'm going back out to install my Extang Classic Platinum snap tonneau cover. It was raining a bit and interrupted my install.

Thanks for any help.

Once the mat flattens out, it fits perfectly in the slots at the bottom on each side panel. May need some WARM overnight heat in a garage if above the Mason-Dixon line. Otherwise let sit in the Sun for awhile. Enjoy.

Maybe run a heat gun over it or set one of those warm radiant heaters in the bed overnight and close the tonneau?

Do you have a spray in bedliner or one of the plastic ones? If you have the plastic bedliner I would guess the stock Ford rubber mat will be slightly too big and not fit. I have a spray in liner with the mat and it fits like a glove.

Thumbs up ...Breaking News

...WeatherTech now makes bedliners for our trucks. First appearances seem consistent with their laser-guided, precision fit products across their line.
WeatherTech has been a favorite for years, and they have yet to disappoint.
FYI...

Saw it, it's just a glorified Bedmat with raised side ridges that's way overpriced at $200. It offers no protection for the side walls or bulk head. drop price to $120 and it would be a nice alterative to all the competeing bedmats.

Well this pile of crap is going back. The bed mat is just to large and was made incorrectly at the factory. It also had some molding issues which I tried to overlook but can't as there's a hole half way into the thickenss of the bed mat.

Dual Liner has turned out to be a very uncooperative company. This was a defective liner from day one which I was given nothing but hassle about exchanging only the defective mat. Now they can have the whole pile of crap back and I can buy a quality bedliner that's made from another company.

If it wasn't for the lousy service and their refusal to exchange the part without hassle on a NEW, NEW bedliner, I would had gladly kept this bedliner.

This is a company that I can not trust one bit so their defective product will go back to them.

Thanks everyone for your help while Dual Liner was of no help.

Recently, I was deciding between LineX ( $499/$599 ), Dual Liner ( $384 ) and a drop-in Pendaliner ( $174 ).
I was leaning toward Dual Liner because I liked the idea of the bed mat for extra protection and non-slippage. However, I read many customer reviews stating that fit wasn't as good as advertised; particularly the tail gate piece. So, I bought the Pendaliner and the OEM Ford F-150 Logo bed mat ( $100 ), for $274 total, and I'm very happy.

Now that I'm a little calmer, I may try to make this work but I think Dual Liner is still a crappy company and if it weren't to save me some hassles, I'd send their crap back. Saga still isn't done as I got my Credit Card company involved as I don't trust Dual Liner.

If this doesn't work out, I may go with a Bedrug Bed Tred in the spring or just go with the Ford plastic drop in liner. I hate spray in liners as they offer little dent protection, damage the factory paint, and often look like crap from poor installation.

Man, hate the problems you have had. My Dual liner has been great, fits perfectly and have used the same one in last two trucks. I really like the way the side walls fit. Cleaned up they still look good after 2 plus years. Good luck.
