And I'll post this just in case it can help someone else some day.

I have the same model and had no issues. I did adjust the latch position. Don't remember it looking like your photos though. During very heavy rains at highway speeds I get a very small amount of water in the bed. I chose this model because I take it on and off a lot and like the ease of the system.

It will not keep water out. There is a large hump on both sides of the cover in the middle and it does not real in the front. Almost like it's bent upward.

I used the weatherstripping they sent with it along the front of the bed and inside of the tailgate.
Mine looks the same. I wish I went with a different cover as well. I have the humps on the side, like yours, at each folding location. Also, when I was driving down the interstate one morning, I forgot to latch the cover when I had it folded up and BOOM. I literally thought someone rear ended me. I looked in my rear view mirror and it was hanging off the side of the truck. Pulled off and fixed it but it did crack the plastic around the aluminum tubes but the tubes seem fine. Seals ok but water still gets in up by the cab slightly. I noticed by the cab, the bed has a slight curve in it so it doesn't seal all the way across for this reason.

I have the same cover and the same problems. I wonder if it has to do with our drop-in liners? The cover looks great in the videos where they install it with no liner. I think the weatherstripping for the cover in the front of the bed is being pushed up by the liner (which isn't perfectly shaped itself) and that translates into the front corners lifting and our tightening the latch to try and get the corner down, which in turn, makes the double-jointed fold go down further on one side than the other, creating the hump.

However, I had not yet contacted the company and didn't know you could adjust the bar. I think I will try that tonight since I knew the placement of the latch was contributing the the problems. Good timing too, I was just about to put it on for a weekend camping trip

Other than that, no other issues.

You are correct. The liner creates a big gap on the sides of the bed where the liner meets the side. I took my liner out and gave it to my father in law. The leaking that was occuring has gotten considerably better. Also, without the liner, the water that does leak through drains through the stamped parts of the bed.

Thanks for the input bcb97 and GetYaFordOn

Today I moved the latch bar. It looks so much better in the front than it did, but still not correct in my opinion.

The corners now lay flat but the humps at the hinge are still there. I also noticed 2 more things. The latch bar that I moved does not bow upward like the other ones. It rained today and left a puddle up front.

Also, this thing could be a full inch longer and be just fine.

A side note - I put the weather stripping across the front of the bed to "fill in the gap" that the bed liner makes. It seals nicely and I think the water still leaking in comes from the back where the damn thing is too short.

Here's the latch bar that I moved. Looks like it's built incorrectly somehow. The clamps have little to no tension on them here.

Looks like this one was built Monday morning. I'm guessing the piece the clamp attaches to at each end of the cross bar is upside down? Or else way over tightened, but you said no tension. Will try to attach some pictures of my American Tonneau. The tension pulls the end brackets down a little, but natural shape matches the bow of the cross piece. Looks like you need a repair or replacement. Should not be humps at hinges either.

TheBurnerGuy The TonnoPro had 5x's as many reviews and was $20 more so I thought it would of been better than the American. Boy was I wrong.

So I followed the directions and repositioned the forward clamp, trying close to the front at first. It looked a lot better that way, BUT... the middle of the cover could be lifted easily by your hand, so moving the clamp that far forward meant a reduction in security (or at least the illusion thereof) and I'm not sure about how it would react if the wind caught it just right. So I moved it back to about halfway between the original position and the new one. It seemed more secure that way.

Still, the hump remains. I think the tension of the cover is stopping that double-jointed hinge from going completely flat. Not sure what we can do about that other than add a third clamp bar.

So:

1: somehow adjust for the higher front of cover due to Bed Liner (solves lifted front corners)
2: better quality and more clamps (Solves hump)

Not that I expect them to listen, they're probably just fine with the money rolling in and the good reviews they have somehow come by. Maybe the 5.5 bed version of this is better than mine?

My coworker had one on his f250 for years and it was perfect. Took a beating as well.
Well he just bought a new 150 and the same cover. This one has the same hump in the middle, you're experiencing. The front and back seal okay. Not the same quality it was 5-6 years ago
