Default no longer an f-150 owner

With the addition of our 4th kid I needed a 6 seater vehicle so my 13 FX4 had to go. It's been a pleasure being a member here and I appreciate everyone. I was in the market for a used Escalade or Denali and picked up a certified 2011 Denali in storm grey metallic. I have always wanted one but they are now just becoming affordable at 4-5 years old. It's an awesome vehicle and the 6.2 AWD satisfies my gear head needs and the exhaust even stock sounds great. I will be getting it tuned at Evolution Performance along with a CAI and Corsa cat back. Thanks again everyone and enjoy those F150's!

Not the biggest fan of GMC in general, but that said, if I were to ever get a 'big' SUV, the GMC Denali or Chevy Tahoe would be near the top of the list; friends I know have owned them and all have > 200K miles. Am sure you'll enjoy it.

Certainky a good alternative. There are a lot of worse things you could be stuck driving! Those 6.2's are no slouch.

Sad to see you cross over to the dark side, but you have a legitimate reason.
If I had to get a GMC I'd look hard at the Denali....nice choice, I hope you enjoy it! Those 6.2's are nice motors.

I love the Denali, I currently own a first gen. Its got a lot of miles, but its a tank and I love it. Congrats, the new ride looks great!

Nice SUV and you can haul you little ones in style. I am sure the gas mileage sucks.

Thanks guys. I've been a Ford owner all my life and I hated to see the truck go but family first. I'm pleased with the GMC SUV switch because in my opinion Ford kills it with trucks and mustangs but offers little in the SUV world and they look like unmarked police cars to me. I will say that I miss the Sony and Sync system. Compared to this it was light years ahead. The interior is a little dated in my opinion also since this style Yukon ran from 07-14 almost identical it's basically 2007 technology and style which is an adjustment compared to my FX4. In the end it's this or a mini van right.

I am glad you didn't buy a Chrysler Mini Van. And you are correct....Ford SUVs are ugly and that is from a Ford fan. If I was in the market for an SUV it would be a 4runner or a Tahoe for me.

Nice but if it were me I'd pay that thing off and then let my wife have it and get another F-150 for myself!
