Quick question for u guys running leveling kits. My truck will be in this week and have Auto Spring 2.5 inch for the front and 3 inch for the rear to go on. I plan on using the stock 18 inch wheels that come on this XLT and have a set of 35-12.50 18s BFG mud terrains off my Super Duty. Will they fit without too much rubbing or will i have to get different tires?

Its going to be a hit or miss on them rubbing. just like it will be a hit or miss on being nose high or level. dont let anyone tell you that it will fit just fine or that it will rub completely. I have seen some in person, not on this forum run a 35x12.50 stock wheels with AS leveling kit. I didnt want to chance it so i stuck with the tires i have in my signature. for the most part ppl running 35x11.5 all seem to have no rubbing issues. The side lugs in mud tires is what most ppl have rubbing issues with. good luck and post pics in the leveled truck thread.

as far as your tires size:
you said you already have the tires, but why dont you look into selling or trading them for something not so wide on the 7.5" wheel.

I bet they did... idk what size, but if they were 34-35s on 18-20s I bet they weighed about 76 lbs each. Even on a SuperDuty you will feel a huge pinch. I love the Trails, and lots of the SuperDuty guys have em, but man, what a bite on your MPG.

1.5 to 2mpg what? loss? you almost doubled the weight of each tire (I think those are 78 lbs each) and dropped 1.5 mpg?

Well I was running 14.5-15.5 in town when it was stock, now I'm around 12.5-13 so far but I have not been driving easy the entire time either. I'd imagine I would sit around 13-13.3 once the kid in me gets bored with the pedal.

I'm not sure what that second part is referring to...

295/65's
2011 fx4, 3.73
2.5 AS LVL and 3" block
Minor trimming to front wheel well liner
Slight rub at full lock on front of uca
It's only been 2 days so not sure on a mileage drop yet

Here, I lightened that pic a bit so you could see the tire.
