Default Nitto Terra Grappler [P Rated] 305/55's ON THE WAY! :)

I ordered my new tires this weeked!

I went with Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in the P Rated 305/55r20 (215290).

I was debating between them and the LT305/55r20 (215190)

I picked the P Rated for the weight (50 lbs vs 65 lbs) and the ride quality.

I got them from CustomAutoOnline.com
They had the lowest price by far, and free FedEx shipping!

I will post pics ASAP!

Be sure to post pictures. Possibly looking into them as my next tire.

Just saw on Nittos site the other day that they don't make the regular TG for 20s of any size anymore. You must get the G2s. 50lbs for that size is great!

The Toyo M/Ts (305/55, most likely my next tire) is like 72lbs. Wish they made them in a P rated tire. I like the Toyos a lot, ran them on my last truck but I just think there very heavy. I'm running the 275/60R20 Terra Grapplers now which weight 43lbs, although there a great street tire they aren't the best off road. So next set I get I want a M/T but it appears weight is going to be my biggest issue!

Wayne,
Yes, I searched high and low for the standard TG's in that size, hoping to save some $$$ by going with the older model. Many sites show them, but don't really have them in stock.

I have done PLENTY of research, and I am about 99.96587395% positive that the Terra Grapplers are the only P rated tire in that size. I run a -12 offset, so the weight factor is more than MPG's, its also increased life of my front end parts.

I will be sure to do a full write up!

Been looking at those too along with the Atturo.

I searched a bit the other day and found this info to compare.
Atturo M/T 305/55R20 LT 64lbs
Toyo M/T 305/55R20 LT 72lbs
Toyo R/T 305/55R20 LT 69lbs
Toyo AT2 305/55R20 LT 74lbs

Nitto Terra Grappler 275/60R20 P 43lbs
Toyo AT2 275/60R20 P 43lbs

@ Wayne Interesting how the the Toyo AT is heavier than the MT, the RT is sick!!! Would have loved to go with RT but coughing up the cash for those is a little pricey in Canadian Dollars. I also did some research and it the seems the AMP are better quality than the Atturo!!! I guess I'm going to find out!!! I'll be sure to post some pics!!! Hopefully I don't regret going with this wide of a tire but thought I better with my new Fusion Rear Bumper!!!!
