I was surfing ebay and found these Raptor 17" rims for sale, asking $600 for the set of 4 plus shipping, like new condition. Thought one of you guys might be interested.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up !!

I also figured there would be folks dumping the engineered (for this vehicle) stock rims and either going for another 17" to accomodate those tires, or even going to something like 20's or even 22's, as they turn this Macho truck into a Boulevard Queen.

This will be my plan 'B' if I am unable to come up with a good tire size for my '09 with 18" wheels. There is a greater selection of A/T tires in the 17" wheel size. In that regard, I am holding off on making a selction on new tires, for a couple of more months.

In the interim, it is my hope the Raptor wheel prices will come down, as more come on the market.

Best place to look for anyone that's intersted is to use SearchTempest.com and look for takeoffs. I found several sets with tires for around the $1000 mark. Not too bad when the tires retail for WELL over that.
