The pain threshold is at 120dB. OSHA Required Hearing Protection in Factory is 85dB. Sustained Exposure May Cause Hearing Loss is 90dB. A few more for good measure:

I heard one of these at a football game this past season. Some guy in a lowered tahoe had one. After the first few blasts I thought hey that's kind of neat. After he did it 30 times hanging out his window dancing like a monkey I was just hoping somebody would run up and punch him in the face. They get annoying quick!
