i like the concept here. more aggressive than an AT, but more road friendly than an MT. I'll def consider these when they are released.

I doubt it was made to compete with dura tracs they don't look like they would be good for ice and snow.

Looks like an in between like the Cooper ST Maxx. That, reviews and price were why I bought mine. Toyo MTs appeared to be too heavy and loud and the AT2s weren't quite aggressive enough for me + cost more.

That tire looks perfect for what I'd want. Any word on the sizes they will offer the R/T in?

Same with me. I am glad Toyo is making these. From the article, these are going to be fully made here in the US. I've been looking for an American Made comparable tire to my Pro Comp Xtreme ATs. I want the aggressiveness tread design of the Pro Comp but the quiteness, tread life and quality of the Toyos. Interested in seeing how much these are, sizes that are offered and how they are in snow, mud, rain etc.

Seems like Nitto released their new bridge between the Terra Grappler and the Trail Grappler today.

I keep hearing that toyo owns Nitto, so if that is true then I'm not surprised that they both are coming out with a hybrid design. Also, do you have the info on the nitto?

EDIT, looks like Nitto redid their entire site and added the new EXO grappler. take a look
