New Rotors
My rotors are warped on my 2014 XLT 5.0.
I am going to replace both rotors and pads up front.
I do lot's of towing and I am looking for something that will provide a little better stopping when towing and not warp so easy.
Lot's say EBC is the way to go but my buddy had a rough go with his full EBC setup.
Can anyone recommend a quality product?
Thanks

My new rotors will be in tomorrow for the same reason, I only have 8500 miles on my 13 but they been shaking for a little while and getting worse. They were highly recommended by other members here so I can't say for certain but if the price tag is any clue, they should be great, or at least better than oem.

My pads still look new so I got just the rotors for the front.

How did they warp? A lot of people think they have warped rotors when they really just have material transfer buildup from the pads. I have 94,000 miles in my F150 with the original pads and rotors. Sometimes they vibrate when stopping but that is cleared up with a couple of very hard braking stops when the brakes are cold. I have a very steep driveway.. I can slam on my brakes at the bottom and Sometimes it scrubs off the buildup of material.
Doesn't always work but it's worth a try... YMMV.

I have a shimmy at hard braking and thought my rotors were warped and bit the bullet with Hawk rotors and pads. When I went to do the brake job, I had found that the brake pads had cracked on the braking surface. Although I didn't need to do a full brake pad and rotor replacement, I fell that I'm getting better braking having replaced both.

I went to Ford with my 2013 for warped front rotors. If my hands were off the wheel while braking, the wheel would very visibly shimmy... less than 12k miles. Ford miced them and indeed had greater than spec runout. They machined them and I was back on my way, but very surprised to have this happen.

I'm looking forward to hear what you and Rnlcomp think of them.
Even tho, I just replaced mine at 17,000 miles with Napa's premium one's, and it feels new again. If you notice a significant improvement, I'll put those on in a heartbeat.
Even tho, my pads looked brand new, I probably should've upgraded those too, while it was apart.
It's amazing how that pulsating, can make a year old truck, feel like it's 20 years old.

A secondary question to you that have replaced rotors and pads. Did you bleed the brakes after? I had my rotors turned and installed Wagner pads. The stopping is very smooth now, but I feel I have to press the pedal with much more effort than before. Also if I'm stopped and I press the pedal once, it will depress alot, but if I pump it a couple more times it firms up quite a bit.
I didn't think I would need to bleed them since I never opened the system up, but maybe I'm wrong.
