Default New Plugs, Truck Is Still Missing

Well I just rolled over 32,000 miles and my truck began to miss. Took it to Autozone to have a check up, code P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire. Went ahead and replaced all of the plugs myself and drove about 80 miles and the truck is still missing and my truck even went into limp mode. Next stop is the dealership, any advice?

Thanks,

Thanks,
You have 4k (3yrs might be expired) left of bumper to bumper and 28k (5yrs) of powertrain warranty left. Take it to the dealer, let them figure it out.

I appreciate the advice from all and I am going to take it to the dealership. I was just hoping some time just had to pass but it seems to be getting worse. I'll let you guys know what they decide.

It's probably a coil pack. If you had a ohm meter you could test it yourself. Bad misfires send unburnt fuel into the cat's and they go next.

Yea I have been having unburnt fuel coming out of the back end. It isn't constant but it is apparent.

Quick update...the dealer has had my truck for over 48 hours now and they have no idea what is wrong with it. I have received multiple calls a day as follow ups saying they are diving further and further into the engine to try and find out what is going on.

Well I needed a few things out of the truck so I went up to the dealership this morning and noticed that my truck had the hood popped. I took a look around and could not figure out what exactly they were doing. So i asked to speak to the service manager and he looked it up in the computer that my truck had been worked on for a total of 3 hours so far.

So I made an appointment for my truck, it has been sitting for over 48 hours at the dealership, and yet it only has 3 worked hours on it so far?? This seems way too strange to me and I kindly let them know my frustration. The only info I have received on my truck is the plugs are fine, the coil is fine, there is just no compression in cylinder 1. He said he would personally give me a call back Monday morning with an update so I will be waiting for that. I suppose I am just very frustrated to be without my truck for over 48 hours and to walk in the shop and see absolutely no progress and continue to get the run around. On Monday I plan to wait for his call and go from there, if I do not have some type of actual news besides "we are still looking into it" I plan to go up and speak with the GM.

Any advice??

You're able to walk over and look at your truck in the shop? I can't even see mine through the very small window in the customer area.
