Much betting braking than OEM on my truck unloaded but really noticed the difference when towing our 7000 lb travel trailer through the Rockies this summer.

I've had good results with OEM rotors and Hawk / EBC pads. I've got a set of Hawk ceramic pads waiting to go on my truck. I'm debating on what to do with the rotors but I'm thinking I'm just going to turn them. I usually turn them without issue unless it's a rotor that can't be due to thickness, etc. I've had good results with Powerstop rotors as well but they aren't the cheapest.
Personally, I think if you aren't having issues (and a lot of times when they are) turning your rotors is good. Usually just have a build up of pad material to cause it to feel like a "warped rotor". If whoever you have turning the rotors knows what they are doing they will be able to advise you if they can't be turned.
I don't have any experience with these but I saw a lot of people were going with these.
