Default New member, pics and a couple questions

Hello

New to the forum, been lurking around for a while though. Here is my 2013 f150 2wd. So far I have added:
steps
bull bar
led light bar on the bull bar
led backup lights
led strips under the steps
tool box
Dash strobes
Rear strobe bar
Grill strobes
Nitro Terra grappler g2 (285/70/17)
And I plastic dipped part of the grill and the mirror reflectors.

I do have a couple questions real quick,

Mechanic told me I need new struts/shocks already. So I'm looking at doing the blisten 5100s. However I'm also looking at putting a 3 inch level on the front and a 1.5 inch block in the back. Will this setup work? Is it possible to get even more lift with that combo?

Thanks in advance!

I will post pics in just a moment

I used packaging tape over the LEDs on the running boards to hold them up and protect them a bit.

5100s will level your truck. Are you wanting to stack a spacer ontop of the Bilsteins too? I'd advise against that. Most don't exceed 2.5"-3" total level as you'll begin to stress front driveline components pretty quickly.

Bilsteins set on the top notch should get you around 2.75" of ride increase. That and a rear block would be a good setup. F150Lifts.com could hook you up with Bilsteins and blocks. Reach out to Alex for more info.

No need for the front block. like noted above the front end will only handle around 3" or so of lift, so you could either run the 5100s at 2.75" lift and no blocks, or run the 5100s at stock height and run the spacers (waste, would be better off with just Bilstein HDs). Another option would be coilovers to both improve ride quality, get the lift, and replace the front shocks all in one. Either way, Call Alex at F150lifts.com, he has everything you would want and can hash out with you whatever your thoughts are. If at the end of the day you have more questions or want more opinions then post back up and we'd be happy to help.

Thanks for the replies guys. So after reading the comments I guess I should go with a 3 inch spacer in the front and a 1.5 block in the rear, that's level correct? Or dang close too it??

What's a decent shock for running on very rough dirt roads? I don't mind a rough riding truck, I just want the shocks to hold up

I will get in touch with Alex as well.

I used silicone to hold everything in place, works great, just had to use zip ties to hold it all in place till it dried
