Very sharp looking truck! Sunset looks great on every truck I've seen it on so far.

I'm more after the steering wheel swapping. Not sure how to do it. I like my blue color more than the red.

steering wheel swap isn't hard.

t50 torx bit and you're good to go.
air bag comes out easy, get a wire coat hanger and cut it into 3 L shaped pieces 4" long, put them in the holes and push 1 at a time start at the 3 o clock hole and got counter clockwise doing 1 at a time, push the hanger in to disengage the air bag spring while you pull on the air bag. its got a cleat that seats it in the steering wheel.

i bought a leather wrapped wheel from the guy on ebay w/ the $199 OBO wheels. offer him 150...
here's a pic i snapped earlier.

the swap makes a lot more sense when you have the extra wheel on the bench to play with.

Zax, I like the blue as well. Thats why I went with the XLT/Platinum cluster.

As far as the steering wheel goes, I don't imagine its going to be that complicated. There are several videos on youtube that show how to pop off the airbag so it should just be removing the center nut, pulling it out and swapping it. This is going to be the first time I will be doing this on a car newer than 1979, so we will see how difficult it gets. I learned the hard way to make sure the wheel is perfectly aligned and to remember where the wheel was exactly when you took it off. just a few degrees off is pretty annoying when youre driving down a straight road and have OCD. lol

PS - I got my FX Appearance Pkg body decals in the mail today! Now I am researching shops for the install. I don't want to try and do it myself. Has anyone seen any threads on people doing this to their truck? I tried using the search bar on here but I couldnt find a topic specifically about that.

also these wheels don't fit like the wheels from years ago. i sweated for days about finding a puller for it. guess what? you take the center bolt out and the wheel starts flopping around and almost falls off.
