Man I got taken I guess
Mine goes in on the 11th and I will be paying $625 out the door for LineX with extra, on my screw short bed - LineX dealer wanted $500 plus $125 for the "extra"

The same reason gas is a different price in different places. I paid $550 for my 6.5' box. It has been over a year now and looks great.

I went with Bullet Liner....It was invented by the same guy who invented Line-X. Once his non-compete was up, he "re-invented" bullet liner (it's supposedly the Line-X with the uv protector built in, and maybe a couple of other small changes). Paid $415, since they didn't have to spray the tailgate.....you know, since I have one of those awesome old man steps and the built in midget stripper poles.

The main difference between the Rhino Liner and Line-X is the hardness of the material. Rhino Lining is softer so things tend to slide less and it isn't as hard on your knees if you kneel in the truck but you lose a moderate amount of durability. Line-X and Bullet Liner are harder and rougher so they definitely don't feel nice to kneel on but they are also a bit tougher.

I wonder if you can extend that poll and make it for a full size stripper?

Not a huge stripper just a nicely proportional normal height one

It was 400 for the bedliner itself and then another 75 for the uv-protectant

Faster said it depends on what state you are in but I think it's just dealers trying to get as much money as they can if there is no competition around. I though Texas had a lower cost of living and taxes than a lot of states so the price would have been less for you. There are only 2 linex shops within 4 hrs of me and each one wanted $500 plus tax for the basic spray which is why I did not do mine.
