Nice truck and you picked it up just a couple of days before the snow! Looked like a great day when you picked it up.

Do you like the Euro Antenna X ?

How tall?

Where did you purchase it?

Any problems receiving distance FM stations?

Euro Antenna is 13" tall. It's a hard plastic vs metal.

Ordered from Antennax.com $14.99, free ship.

Notice no difference in reception for the few local terrestrial stations that I set presets for. Listen to Sirius almost exclusively so I can't comment on long range stations.

Truck has about 2 in height clearance at my work garage. A shorter antenna was a must have to avoid the constant whipsawing of the antenna. It was installed an hour after I took delivery.

Very nice! I am purchasing the very same truck this week, but with the Sienna Brown interior.

Thanks for reminding me to get a shorter antenna. My garage door will like it shorter, too. As for the big ears (tow mirrors), I am concerned with them when pulling into the garage. Any problems there?

Also, did you have clear bra installed across the front?

Yes, the ears are big. They are very useful though. Once I had them adjusted right, and learned how to judge distance with them, I would say they are a must have. Plenty of rearward visibility.

No clear bra. Not really interested. I tend get chips all over the vehicle and use 3M hand glaze as a base coat wax to fill in the chips. Carnuba on top.

Yeah, I've had tow mirrors for 7 years on my '04 Titan. Love 'em.... virtually no blind spots when you use the smaller, lower mirror. Don't need to look over my shoulder when changing lanes.

I'm just concerned about the size of the F150's tow mirrors. They are 3 inches wider than my current truck, so parking in the garage will be interesting. Wish they were power folding like the regular mirrors on the Platinum.
