The camera always adds glare. I ran 3000K HID fogs for over 3 years and I don't think it bothered people coming at me. I say that because we have some light sensitive and clueless people around here. With just my low beams on I've been flashed driving uphill at people and flashed for going over a bump in the road that made the front end come up. HIDs in buckets aren't the best idea but if they're not aimed up they're not that bad

Cameras always do add glare. Best way to see how bad it is just get someone to swap vehicles with you and pass your own truck and see what your doing to other drivers.
Looks bright if you can would you get a pic of sitting in driver seat with fogs on only? Would love to see what they look like down the road.
Still too blue for my tastes but as long you as you like them that's all that matters.

quite a good difference, they provide more light than the headlights.
I'll try to get some comparison pics for ya...

Here are some day pics, just finished the install... looking forward to seeing if there is a big difference at night over the stock halogens (900 vs. 3200 lumens, so I expect so). I ordered a conversion kit by SDX off Amazon, they sent me the wrong bulbs (H4's) with the kit, I ended up buying Lumens brand bulbs 6000K 35W and using the ballasts that came with the H4's. All in all, it costs me a bit extra and I'm stuck with some paperweight H4's, but Im happy with the end result, the whole thing cost me around $50 and an hour of my time to install and I never did anything like this before, so it would probably take an experienced shop about 15 minutes... I think they charge like 250$ to install lol

So i don't know much about the HID lights but i'm assuming they are much brighter than the stock halogens we currently have in the fog lights? and is this kit plug and play that you installed? $50 bucks for everything? if so i'm really interested in getting something like this although i'd like the light to be white to match my other lights. blue would look weird.
They are plug and play kits and most people say you need to put hid fogs into projection housings but both my F150s have plug and play hids in my fogs and tilted the housings slightly down and haven't been flashed once in the three years I have run them.
And this kit that has the blue tint is a 6000k bulb but you can get 5000k to closer match the 4300k stock healights.
I run 5000k in one of my trucks and 3000k pure yellow in my FX4 and the 5000k puts out a ton of light but the 3000k seems to cut through fog and rain a lot better.
