Default new fogs

Just installed 6000K HID fogs with ballasts, still need to mount 2nd ballast on bumper but it seems to be working perfectly and looks pretty good.

Just wanted to share that with y'all... I'll post a pic soon

Where did you get the kit?

Here are some day pics, just finished the install... looking forward to seeing if there is a big difference at night over the stock halogens (900 vs. 3200 lumens, so I expect so). I ordered a conversion kit by SDX off Amazon, they sent me the wrong bulbs (H4's) with the kit, I ended up buying Lumens brand bulbs 6000K 35W and using the ballasts that came with the H4's. All in all, it costs me a bit extra and I'm stuck with some paperweight H4's, but Im happy with the end result, the whole thing cost me around $50 and an hour of my time to install and I never did anything like this before, so it would probably take an experienced shop about 15 minutes... I think they charge like 250$ to install lol

Little blue for my tastes as I prefer either 3000k yellow or closer to matching the HID heads but good job on your install and they do look good.

Night shots when you get the chance please.

Yeah, im feeling theyre a little blue too, I'll keep them in for a few months, might swap them out for 3000K if I get tired of the blue... the ballasts were the longest part so swapping bulbs should take about 3 minutes ... I'll probably buy some 3000K's just for the fun of it :-)

EDIT...in all seriousness, the color looks good, but man I'd hate to be coming down the road at you. Those things have to put out a ton of glare.

Thanks MC, I think I might swap em out for some 3000K bulbs... I'll try them out for a couple of weeks and see, I dont want to cause any accidents...

Possibly an ignorant question, but so be it. Is that some sort of conversion to a driving type light? I've thought about doing some sort of conversion to driving type lights instead of the fogs in both the Ranger and 150.
Looks good in daylight, at any rate.

^^^
No, it's an H10 bulb, same as the halogen one. No special conversion, not purposely anyway... thanks!
