Default new caliper bolts

2010 f150 anyone know what the new style caliper bolts are for? I can't find them on the internet anywhere. Instead of just a bolt it has a long stem off the head with a 2 inch round section on top of that. No wires to it so it can't be a sensor.

picture?

I'd have to look. I don't even have 10k on mine, so I've had no use really to look at the brakes

Don't have a picture. I thought I would be able to find it on the net but no such luck. I normally wouldn't have seen them this early in the trucks life either. My truck didn't have a tracklock from the factory. I had to remove the calipers to install the new rear. I have asked every one I know and no one has a clue.

They changed the brakes from 2009 to 2010. That might be part of the change.

might just be one of those things that the Ford engineers put on the truck, just to make any one else who's working on it scratch their heads and utter "wtf?" possibly serves no purpose at all

I'm climbing under my truck tomorrow to change the oil, and I'll take a look while I'm down there
