Well...Mercedes has had its 9 speed tranny out for a while now and I guess the rest of the world is trying to catch up....lol.
Seriously though....at some point this craziness has to end. Count me in with the group that has had ZERO problems with the 6 speed. Seems perfect to me, though with the 3.73:1 rear end the revs ARE a bit high at 70 mph. Need to get them down around 1700 or less to get the best fuel economy.

I have read a lot into this and from experience with 21k on my 09 FX4 I can tell you my six speed shifts no different than other 6 speeds that I have driven from Ford, GM, or Toyota. I think it is a lot better than Dodges 5 speed in the HEMI Ram that is for sure.
