Default Need advice ASAP - heat shield fell off due to bad job at Firestone

So I had new tires put on and the oil changed at Firestone Auto Care.
I drove off and as soon as I hit the highway CLUNK and noise. I pull over and see the heat(?) shield all wrapped up under the truck.
Called them and they sent a guy out who is currently under my truck in a restaurant parking lot trying to "fix" it. He is trying to put it back on with zip ties.
What is the best course of action for me to take here? I obviously want it to be right, I also don't want to overreact. But I want to feel OK at the end of the day. They ruined my day so far.

Leave it off, it's worthless anyway. Buy some RCI Metalworks covers.

First you need to find out why they removed that in the first place to put on new tires and change the oil. No reason to touch the heat shield. Second don't feel bad about anything. Hold them responsible to repair or replace that to factory specs. That is totally unacceptable.

They shouldn't of removed it. If you get under a truck with one attached there's a cut out where the drain plug is. Therefore they removed something they didn't need to. Make them pay to replace it and all hardware.

One of the first things I did was take that off of my truck when it was new. That thing is a useless waste of money. I would leave it off.

My local Xpress lube did the same thing to me.. Its about 25 minutes away, and when I was pulling up my driveway I lowered my music and heard an odd dragging noise. I looked under the truck and notice that the rear thumbscrews didn't grab, so the rear of the shield was dragging.. it didn't look damaged at all, so I think I got lucky and it fell off right when I was getting home.

anyway, I still go to the same quick lube spot, but I did tell them about the incident and now I remind them to tell their tech to tug on the shield around the edges to make sure the thumbscrews are engaged.. haven't had a problem since

OK, they took the fabric shield off. We agreed I will have a full inspection and repair done by my local Ford dealership and they will reimburse.
Can you guys see if anything else is missing?

Had the same thing happen to mine after having Ok Tire do my lube. I just pulled it off and threw it in my shed.
