I rarely use the nav anyway, but always use the rest of the features!

That big screen looks nice on the new F250. This will be a nice new and upgraded feature in the '13 F150 series too. I am told that most of the new features, including the headlight and grill change, will be on Lariat and up, not for XLT and down in the F150 trucks in '13. Also, this new upscale series of F250's/350's will appeal to that retired, fairly well off, 5th wheel crowd.
I am also happy to see Ford look at the 'functions' for truck owners, differently than that of a car.
.....The most important new feature in the Platinum Series is MyFord Touch, Ford’s updated touchscreen interface. Ford also included four large rotating ***** and several other tactile buttons on the center console that control the temperature and radio to augment the MyFord Touch’s 8-inch touchscreen. That way, drivers wearing work gloves won’t need to bother with the touchscreen when they want to turn on the AC or change the radio station.....

Also, what did you mean earlier by your comment regarding bigger brakes on MY2013?
Thnaks.

I didn't say the F-150 screen was smaller...I merely opined that the big screen format on the F-250 looks nice....which to my eye, it does.
I did, however, use poor grammar with regard to the brake upgrade in 2013; I should have said 'larger' rather than "bigger".
Sorry if that caused any confusion.

The current screen they have and the new myford touch are completely different systems even though they may be the same size, the myford touch will be an improvement.

THe new Ford sync, will be such and improvement over previous factory radios..lol... Now My Ford touch will be such a huge improvement over sync...lol...... They are never going to beat the quality of a good aftermarket unit that has all the toys...... My Raptor will come with no NAV and I will put an aftermarket unit with 4 cameras and a DVR.....

My wife had a 2011 Explorer with MyFordTouch, she got rid of it because the system sucks. I hope myfordtouch doesn't come to the F150. Ford needs to revamp it first. Their is an update out, but people are still having problems with it.

Problems with the 2011 My Ford Touch (who comes up with these retard names?) literally dragged the entire company down in the OEM reliability ratings, a thing that does effect sales volume.
