Any of you guys get that letter offering the navigation update for a $149.00 just for the the My Ford Touch version? The letter states it has to be done at the dealer.
Is that just an offer for the way overpriced A5 sd card, I already bought off eBay for $40 bucks.
Or.....is it actually a nice feature packed update?
I have a feeling it may just be the A5 card.

Just the A5 card unless they for some reason think you have the 09-12 Navigation which does require an update at the dealer.

I guess that removing of the SD card and reinstalling the new one in a matter of 10 seconds is pretty labor intensive!

Or is it exactly what I think...the A5 card, way over priced.

I got that letter from Ford the other day too, it went right into the trash. Like you when I decide to do the update I'll get it off eBay for a fraction of the cost.

I bought the A5 card on e-bay back in June, drove to Indiana and back , worked great. $40.00 as well.

That's what I thought. $85.00 an hour to insert the card, and $65 for the card, I paid $40 for.

They know it's a 2013 with MFT (built Nov 11th, which I'm surprised it's not a 14, being built so late, but that's another story.) Guess they forget some of us, are well informed. Thank you f-150 forum.... $109 times.

I think they're trying to get rid of their supply of A5 cards before they come out with the A6 early next year!
