Tuning my Ecoboost with 5* CAI or NO
I know this has been discussed to death CAI or not on an Ecoboost stock, answer is not worth it. But I thought if it was tuned it was worth it. There is a used AFE stage 2 for $250 nearby. I if I am choosing my custom tunes will pick up more power than just being tuned by using the CAI I would pick it up. I have a 2013 3.5L Eco with stock everything all info in signature.
If it wasn't for the CAI being cheap I wouldn't consider it. I would be picking up new filters for it. Thanks for the response and let me know if it would be a waste of $$. Thanks everyone for your input and yes I did search it, but couldn't get a real answer.
This tuning thing was something I was thinking about but jumped on it last night with the Stage 3 12year discount. Thanks and Happy Birthday Stage 3!

Believe me I have no problem finding things to spend $250 on. I just wanted to make sure I should send in my info to stage 3 as it is and not get the intake and then kick myself for not buying it because with a tune and intake I could pick up an extra --% hp or torque. As long as the oem intake is good I will buy a dry drop in filter and be done. Thanks guys
