Agreed. Wife has the MFT with NAV in the 2013 Focus, and I have the 2011 Sony NAV in my F150. It looks a bit better but I haven't seen it do anything that my Sony NAV doesn't do. I also don't like that you have to keep an SD card plugged into a slot for the NAV to work on MFT. Somebody steals your SD card and your NAV is out of commission. There is no way I've seen yet to make a copy of the SD card that will work. The only satisfaction if a thief steals your SD card is that it won't turn a MFT without NAV into one with NAV. So the stolen ones probably end up on craigs list or some such site.

The NAV option has to be programmed in at the factory or by the dealer. It's $795 to add NAV to a MFT unit without NAV. However it is an easier route for those who buy the vehicle without OEM NAV and then later decide they want OEM NAV.

MFT is nice, though.
