Default New guy needs input

Hello, I am in the market for a new F150 fx4 and the one I am looking at Is in Ignot silver.

I don't mind the color but I think It needs more black. Can anyone post pics of the truck with more black accents on it? Or does anyone have ideas of what I can add to blackened up the truck and break up the sea of silver?

All help is greatly appreciated.

The fx4 packages have plenty of black on them from factory IMO. Black grill, flares, bed caps, ect. Tint the windows and add some nice black wheels like bmf's and some 33 or 34" tires with a leveling kit and it will be perfect. Maybe even get some black ford overlays from moody blue on this forum. Black inserts in your f150 badges if they are not already black. There are a lot of little things you can add to accent the truck without over doing it.

Look through this thread I'm sure you will find some ideas

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to over do it or make it look gody I just want to break it up a little.

I'll try and find those overlays.

Search forum member moody blue. May take a while as he is always busy but they are worth it. He can also do black fx4 decals or any other vinyl decal you could want. Here is a pic of some he did for me, black with sterling grey lettering to match my truck

Sometimes less is more...I have a 2013 Ingot Silver FX4 with all the options and I added a smoked black hood deflector, a black tonneau cover and a set of black wheels with a nice set of all terrain tires which aren't too aggressive but just enough to give it a nice look and I get compliments all the time. Also...adding tires without the white lettering adds a bit of a dark rugged element to it as well.

True. I'm just trying to visualize.

My first paint choice was metallic flame blue but the dealership doesn't have one nor can it find one.

Silver is my color of choice...truck and Mustang. I have the appearance package, so there is a lot to break up the silver. Some other add-ones could be a black tonneau, window tint, bigger black flares (if that's your thing), paint the emblems something other than chrome, and of course the wheel options can be endless.
