Ok all, just come up with a new way to do the turn signal mod to include a parking light and turn signal,,
,
I stripped the red 3M tape between the sixth and seventh led to expose the copper, cut the copper so the the last 3 lights would not come on with the first six. soldered two wires to the last 3 LED's and that"s it. The two new wires will be run to the parking lights and the first six LED's to the turn signal wires in the mirror,,

I then took a piece of heat shrink and covered my solder joints. What everyone think will it work?,

Just a note, I already did this mod, and the LED strip in the pictures is what I had left over after I cut it in half. I plan on changing the strips when I get a chance.

I too did this mod only I used the shorter LED strip that had only 6 LEDs. I also only made it come on with the turn signal. I am gonna do this mod to a buddy's pickup next week.

I love this one. Easy to do and pretty inexpensive. Sure looks good to boot.

You could cut a six strip and make this mod work. I just like the idea of having the three led's come on when my parking lights are on.

I'd like to see them installed so I could tell if the 3 leds would be bright enough. I'm definitely going to be doing something similar really soon.

I saw someone that had the entire light strip (18 LEDs) light up with the parking lights at the dimmer version and then the turn signal changed the entire thing to flash when it was activated. I really liked the entire thing being uniform.
