Sorry, I wrote wrong....new baby...lack of sleep you are seeing correct it's in the center console for ease of using the 12v plug in there.

Grandpa's Grocery Getter, thanks and your's looks great.....I really like the lights glowing from under the dash....I was lazy with my install and kept it all centered around the center console and chairs.

I have a single 12v led I'm gonna use for the center console, I just need to tap in to my lame wiring

Hey Grandpa, I'm getting ready to install this feature in my console cupholders and front footwells, where did you tap into your wiring for power? Also did you wire them to come on with headlights/parking lights, or is that a on/off switch for them in your 3rd picture? Thanks for any reply!!!

Hi Toddman,

I tied Into the power seat, then ran everything off that as its central, and that its a constitnt power source.
I beleive I found power at the left kick plate, by the E-brake, that cover just pops off like the door sills

I used speaker wire to run all my long leads, for the door sills and carpet...

I used a Blue Plasma Glow stainless push switch, 3rd & 5th Pic, I bought everything from CARiD
mine came with 10 blocks with 3 led in each block.

I still have to do the inside of the console I have 1 block left to do that...

Under the rear seat i took a length of aluminum angle iron ran it the length of the seat, drilled a hole in the center used a small lag bolt, and attached to the tool box cover, and i made connections to unplug it case I wanted to remove it with1 bolt - I still have to paint the aluminum black.....was in a hurry to get it done..lol

good Luck!

silver push switch is for the blue ambient lighting, red is for my Front Rigid floods

Hi everyone I need a little wiring help for my ambient lighting I'm ready to install! I bought two strip LEDs one for each foot well and one single LED to light up my cupholders along with a pushbutton switch that lights up like grandpas and a dimmer switch to control how bright or dim LEDs are. Each LED has two wires coming off of it a red and black, the pus button switch has 5 prongs a positive, a negative, a common, a No, and a nc. The dimmer has only positive and negative! I only want the blue circle on the switch to light up when I turn the leds off, but I have no idea how to wire this setup. I bought everything from superbrightleds.com. I need someone to tell me how to wire this all up! Please Help!!!
