Default My Ambient Lighting install 2.0

I posted some pics and comments in this thread showing my first attempt at ambient lighting on a budget:
https://www.f150forum.com/f38/led-am...ghting-161382/

Well, for my birthday I received my replacement lights and finally got around to installing them....

For this setup I went with LEDGLOW's Million Mini Set that is expandable and uses usb cables for power connectors.

This kit also has sound activation that responds to music playing. I have a short example of that here, I'm still working out the buttons on the remote as some functions are activated with sound and some aren't: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcxmJ...ature=youtu.be

My hope with this kit is to use the expansions to get presence in the cupholders....I still haven't found a good cheap alternative to the OEM option yet.

As you can see in the pictures below, I mounted the control module in the center console and ran the usb cord to the bottom of the chairs where I mounted the LED strips with double sided tape. Very painless install. :-)

plasma glow has some cool stuff I wish they offered more product pictures on their site though.....helps me visualize

I came across this thread on a nissan site where the guy's idea for led's in the cup holders looked pretty good. it's a clean look atleast

http://www.jukeforums.com/forum/niss...p-holders.html

or something like this in the EL wire/tape world....I just wish this would do multicolor

Kmaximus, Your Lighting looks really good !!!

I used Plasma Glow.....but I wanted only blue, I was going to get the remote set up from neon lights but they wouldn't ship to canada...
I still have to add my last light to the inside of my console yet...

You mentioned mounting the module in the glovebox. In the first pic you posted it looks like a pic of the console and not the glovebox. Can you elaborate a little on this? Are my old eyes interpreting the picture wrong or is there another pic that goes along with the install?
