Linex on the Fender Lip - Possible?
Hello, I recently bought a 2011 Xlt and was curious to see if any of you on the forum have the downside lip of your fenders linexed or know if it is possible. When I say the downside lip, I mean the part that faces the road, or downward. You know, the part that gathers all of the rock chips and where the plastic rock guards are factory mounted. Anyway, I want to do just this area, so as not to affect the appearance from a side view. I am concerned that considering this area is roughly only a half inch wide that it will not be enough for the linex to adhear. I am not worried about the cost or the fact that it will constantly be dirty, I just want to know if it will stick at all and for how long. Sorry, I know I'm terrible at explaining myself.
TL;DR - I wanna linex the inside of my fenders - is it possible or is the application area too small? Experiences?
Thanks in advance

I asked about doing somthing similar and it was very expensive mostly because of the preparation - masking and such.
They can do anything if you're willing to pay for it.
You may want to consider doing it yourself with a bedliner product.

Ya, no reason it couldn't be done. Be sure to remove any hardware, like the screws holding the mudflaps, before hand, you don't want to have them sprayed over. Also, consider getting the UV inhibitor sprayed as well. It'll keep the Linex from turning grey over time. To brighten it up, just use a tire cleaner and detailer type spray to bring it back to new. A tire cleaning brush would work well to get in all the nooks and crannies when cleaning.
Clever idea.
