Not Your Mom's Floor Mat Question

Not Your Mom's Floor Mat Question
Hello everyone,
Just purchased a 2014 CPO Lariat supercrew. The previous owner supplied front Weathertech liners. However...
On the driver's side, the OEM retaining posts have been mysteriously removed from the carpet, and (I suspect) the liner is missing whatever hardware Weathertech supplies to attach to them.
The passenger side has two auger-style plastic pieces that appear to "drill" into the factory carpet to keep the liner in place.
My questions are:
A) Could someone kindly provide a picture of the OEM driver's retaining posts AND the Weathertech anchor that attaches to it, for a 2014 or equivalent? I would like to order replacements for these.
B) Does anyone know the Ford OEM part number for these posts, and where to get them?
C) Do the passenger Weathertech-supplied anchors actually "drill" into the carpet as I suspect? The instructions online are pathetic.
Thanks!

Your truck should have came with the retainer hooks already installed in the carpet. My weatertechs fit perfect in my truck. I have them front and back. My passenger side doesn't have a retainer hook. Driver side has two hooks that attach to the weathertech. I hope the help you out. If you got any questions go head and ask. 2013 king ranch.

Thank you for the pictures and information. Very helpful.
The mats you have don't look like mine. My liners are continuous over the location of the retaining posts on the driver's side, and the same for the passenger (even though there is no factory post on that side). They both have velcro underneath to accept some sort of Weathertech-supplied retainer.
It's hard to describe without pictures, so I will try to provide some when it's light outside. I'm curious to see what's wrong with my setup. This doesn't make any sense!

The passenger does not have anything in my 2014 but the driver side does. My guess would be that they want to ensure the mat on the driver side does not slide and accidentally prevent you from braking or accidently pushed the gas pedal all the way in.

My 13' has posts on the driver side and nothing on the passenger side. As for the weathertechs, I have the ones as described by the OP. They come with a 2 piece mount that wraps around the post and attaches to the liner with velcro. The passenger has the auger style to drill into the carpet and again attaches to the liner with Velcro.
