Default Morimoto XB LED
I have the Morimoto XB LED fog lights and they look great, the only question is has any one found an HID bulb to match the temp of these? I'm running 5000k HID now. Do I need too go cooler? Or up? ,

Leds run closer to 6K on temp.

I had to change to Osram CBI's to even get close the to the color temp of my Rigid SAE fogs and I believe the Morimotos are near the same kelvin.

I'm currently running 5500k and the Morimoto are still a little higher. Agreed, 6000k would be more on par.

Remember though, the higher the kelvins. The less usable light you get!

Thanks for the input. I don't know if I'd really want to step my driving lights up to 6k.

I run an osram cbi in my factory hids. From what I see on TRS the cbi matches pretty well.
