I took home my 2013 F150 last week before i left town for a week. Today when I was going through the features, i noticed that the Navigation screen said to insert SD card. Looked around the truck (glove box, center console, etc. ) No Navigation SD Card. Was this something that is installed at the factory? Is it in a pack somewhere? or is the dealer supposed to install it?

Just got my 2013 and the dealer installed it while showing me the system. Call them up and I'm sure they will take care of it.

My salesman installed mine when I took delivery. However, I did see him take it from a package in the glove box leading me to believe it was placed there at the factory. It was in a sealed bag of some sort inside a normal plastic memory card case. The bag with the empty contents and case were then placed back in my glovebox along with the paperwork that was in it.

The dealer I picked up my truck from has ordered me a new one. Hope it doesn't take forever. He said it was misplaced or on ebay...sure enough I looked on ebay and there were quite a few there for sale.

Finally got the sd card. Took 2 trips and it has been right on. Much better than navigation in the bmw's. It took almost a month to get it...but really is useful.

...is a bit lost at times.....

It will be perfect....and then suddenly it drifts off the road......gets ahead or behind of where the truck really is.....

I've done the classic "turn it of and turn it back on again".....with no success.

Might actually try calling the Sync hotline...and see what they suggest.
