Mirror swap to power folding

Mirror swap to power folding
I apologize if I've missed it, but has anyone on here swapped manual folding to power folding mirrors? I think I might like to do this on my 2010 FX4 (with non-tow, power, heated, signal, non-puddle light, manual folding mirrors).
Thanks,
Thanks,

I know this is an old thread, but Im doing some searching to see if this topic has already been discussed and clarified elsewhere....
I would LOVE to add power folding mirrors to my truck. Of all the creature comforts that this truck has, I really wish power folding mirrors was one of them. Anybody have a parts list and pricing to do the swap?
Im all ears...

The key is, only a ford dealer can swap them from what I've learned due to the computer codes they have to input. Not sure if this is BS, but I have a truck on order that comes with the manual fold tow mirrors, and the dealer is swapping them out for about 1k and I will keep the trailer tow ones for a rainy day....

I've done this to my 2010 lariat following the instructions on this website, don't mind that it was done for a 2004, the hook ups have not changed. eBay the mirrors for about 500-600 total. Wire, relays, pigtails and switch should be around $75 total, I sold my old mirrors for $300 to cut the costs down, only downer on this method is you cannot use the oem mirror switch, but worth the time saved to not manually deal with the mirrors
