This mod ford in fact penalize mpg. So your mere aesthetics ruined the vehicles efficiency. If you drive in severe off-road situations then it may make sense. But most bigger tires/levels are just posers. I am guilty of it as well - how I know first hand that it does in fact material reduce mpg.
