Looks much better. Personally I don't like Ford's version of the middle seat.

So it mounts to the side of the bracket like the jump seat but the bolt holes don't line up?

That's right. The bolts are also smaller. I performed this swap too. I didn't even take out my front seats and still had no problems drilling the new holes.

Looks nice. I wish they offered that in the Lariat/FX trim as an alternative to the full console. If it weren't for the light grey panels on the side I'd probably consider putting one in my Lariat.

In researching this swap I read in a couple places that the pre-'11 model year trucks have both sets of holes(jump seat/console) my '12 truck did not it only had the jump seat holes that utilize much larger bolts.

I'm not sure how you guys drilled the holes out with the seats in place. I was worried about scratching them so we just pulled them out and it made more room to vacuum all the shavings out.

There were no holes for the console in my '10 either. Went to the dealer and they gave me the screws for free and they were self taping so no drilling necessary. Just pushed seat all the way forward for the rears an all the way back for front.

Stolen 98, very nice write up. How do you like your vinyl floor? Do you use floor mats too, and do they stay put?

Thanks! I love the vinyl, I haven't put mats down yet...I didn't get any with the truck and so far all the FORD mats I've looked at on ebay have attach points for the floor. My truck's floor has no provisions for floor mat hooks like my mustangs do. Not sure which route Ill go for some mats at this point.
