Yes! Now my old 2010 sport trac did that but my f150 does not. That's what first led me to believe that there is some sort of backlighting issue.

Passenger side airbag only goes off if there is someone seated in the passenger seat when in an accident.

Yeah the light never lights up at all regardless of anyone in or out of the seat.

Now I'll have to dig further. I think I may just wait until I eventually change the radio. Then I can get back there to have a look.

The passenger seat air bag warning light is only lit when a small amount of weight is put on the seat. I have a lunch box that will set off the light, but if anyone sits in the seat it stays off. It's so You don't put a small child in the front seat.
