Default Message center / hazard button lights?

Apologize if this is elsewhere... couldn't find anything in search. Are those button supposed to be back lighted at all? Just to clarify im talking about the six buttons a top the radio buttons. grouped by three either side. Mine don't have any lighting so that's why I ask. Thanks!

What year truck? My 2012 only has 2 buttons where the hazard lights are (hazard and traction control). They are centered above the radio and are back-lit.

It's a 2010. It has three buttons for the message center and another three for hazard lights passenger air bag and traction control.

I have 3, TC, hazard and an airbag light. Except for the hazard triangle, they are back lit and this is on a 2012.

Great, thank you. That's what I was looking for. I'll have to see if it's the switches that are bad or backlighting. If there are separate bulbs etc.

Now that I'm thinking about it, they might only be lit up when engaged or activated.

That's a possibility too. I'll have to check at night and see.

I know the airbag one only comes on if someone is in the passenger seat. It lets me and my passenger know the passenger side airbag is activated.
