Default McGaughys 6.5" lift and 20x12s w/35x12.50 toyo open country MT's

So I'm going to go ahead and order the mcgaughys 6.5" lift for my 2011 f150 xlt super crew 4x4 short bed and I want to run 20x12 moto metal 962's with 35x12.50 toyo mts.
I'm concerned they will rub if I try to turn and drive out with any flex or movement of the suspension whatsoever.
I'd rather not hack away at my truck to much. Plan on getting a frontier replacement front and rear bumper as well
Any one use this kit with this wheel. I've been searching and searching all over and can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
Anyone that can help please do!!
Thanks.
Stephen

Carabidae, could you weigh in on this, same setup but different lift. Did/Do you rub at all?

Hello.
I cant tell about the lift, but some members installed it and are not complaining. I actually have the 6" Fabtech lift and as im wrinting this post im installing the bilsteins 5100s up front to get a little more clearance. I have the same wheels that op intends to purchase but wrapped in 35/13.5 Mickey Thompson ATZ tires. In the process of testing the truck after the install i experienced some rubbing in the OEM side step and in the front lower valance of the front bumper. Trimming was a must on both ends. Also, i do rub while backing up and wheel at full lock even when offroading i do get some rubbing every now and then but it doesnt really bothers me. Now with the McGaughys lift it says 6.5" the .5" might be in ur advantage. Thus, i know the 12" width wheels have a killer look but they are not really practical, they stick out alot and it took me some time to get used to them, after rubbing a few cars in the parking lots.
If you have any questions in mind, dont hesitate to ask and please mention so i can get a message.

Thanks guys. But I've been back and forth down this merky road trying I decide what would be best and most practical for my uses
I love the huge offset look and giant lifts but maybe not the best option for someone that hunts and works out if there truck plus driving 1500 miles to and from Cali and Texas.
So I've decided to go with rancho 4" and 35s on my 18s now the big question. What tires. ???
Then bumpers and toolbox to follow!

to be honest the 6" lift isint that big, maybe i got used to it or something, the only issue i mentioned was the huge offset and width of the wheels that arent practical for a daily use.
If you see that the 4" is enough for ur usage then go for it. As for tires, out of my experience, i would always recommend BFG T/A KO, they are offered in 325/65/18 which are 34.6"

12" wide wheels are probably going to rub, I have 20x10 with -24mm offset and bushwacker flares and they rub time to time, a lot when i'm offroading.

We'll the rancho set up is just not worth the money they want for it. Ridiculous. Back to the drawing board. I'm probably going to stick to te mcgaughys kit and my 18s for now then I can upgrade later down the road and hopefully get some nationals and coilovers built
I'll keep you guys posted.
