Question for you - does that FX4 have a 8.8" or 9.75" rear axle? I'm asking cause I'm still trying to figure out what on earth the difference is from the Max Tow package and Tow package myself...

I have the Max Tow package on an XLT and it has the 9.75" rear axle

How do you tell the difference in the rear axles? I've never owned an F150. Only the F250.

Very nice! Looks just like the one I picked up last week, but mine has a 5.0. I haven't had time to get good pictures yet. Enjoy your truck.

On another note, there is a post here about the Max Tow having an extra spring in the rear. I've yet to see any documentation or proof of that.

You have the regular tow package, unless you are in Canada.

Max Tow in the US comes with big side mirrors.

Oh you mean real truck mirrors as apposed to "car" mirrors. Remember, some people might think the regular mirrors are the "ugly" mirrors. But hey, opinions are like as*****s. Everybody's got one.

Not quite ready yet. Black and silver, old school Centerlines, Muncie 4 speed, 4.10 rear 12 bolt with Moroso posi, and a 98 Camaro SS LS1 engine with a carb conversion.
