Well I had no intention of painting the chrome headlight backing but due to an unexpected crack when trying to remove it from the headlight housing, I'll be buying some black spray to cover it up. Only concern is that the projector is already mounted and jb welded in. If anyone has any ideas as to how to wrap it to protect it from the paint, please chime in

Would a ziplock bag over the projector + a zip tie to seal it up work? It would be easy on, easy off.

That's what I was thinking, or a plastic garbage bag, produce bag (fruits and veggies).

As much as I'd like to, I'd like to get them sealed up and finished this week, so no demon eyes for me. Gonna paint and seal and install and be done with them

demon eyes cost like....20 bucks for good ones? maybe a little more if you want full RGB

or could just go to ebay, get a single color demon eye for even less than 20 and just wire it to the marker lights. It doesn't get any more budget than that.

They look really good!! Officially inspired to do this, hopefully I can do it within the next few months

As far as demon eyes, they're pretty cheap, adding them would still be low budget lol

I'm finishing mine up now. Mini h1 7.0, mini gatlin gun shrouds, hylux ballasts and Yeaky 5500k bulbs. I was gonna swap out the shrouds but I'm happy with the look . I got some crap on the headlight junkies Facebook page for the mini shrouds lol. I painted mine with krylon fusion paint. Hopefully it holds up. I painted the steel stick with high heat engine paint so I blended in. Lenses are a little chipped up but they were my stock lights. I have around 300 bucks in them. Thanks for the help cmbezln
